Devin Shaw, a graduating student with the Frost School of Music will lead his Ghetto Space Band in a new format of 16 world-class musicians from the Frost school to showcase his new original compositions and promote his mission of cultural intersectionality.

Dev Shaw is a talented and accomplished pianist, composer, and producer from Chicago, Illinois. He is a 2025 recipient of the Stamps Scholarship at the Frost School, where he studies and performs with renowned artists like Brian Lynch, Etienne Charles, and Gonzalo Rubalcaba across the globe. Devin has collaborated with notable Chicago musicians, including Common and members of the AACM, and worked with artists like Isaiah Collier and Marquis Hill. His unique performance style blends jazz, blues, hip-hop, classical, folk, and gospel, showcasing the intersection of world cultures through music. Devin's work aims to explore our shared realities and preserve our musical heritage.
