2026 Family & Youth Camping Adventure

Family Camping from 3:00 PM Saturday January 24th to ten o'clock on Sunday January 25th.

Join us for a wonderful opportunity to overnight at Bill Baggs Cape Florida State Park and experience nature and all the park has to offer.

IMPORTANT DETAILS:

  • Tickets are required for all campers ($ 20). Directions to the location will be shared when you arrive at the park entry gate.
  • Minimum age recommended for campers: 6 years
  • All campers under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or adult guardian.
  • For safety of all participants, all campers (child, youth, adult) must check in, show ticket to receive and wear an event wrist band.
  • Service Project is part of the event. All campers area expected to participate with the clean up service project on Sunday morning.

WHAT TO BRING:

  • Tent and camping gear
  • Dinner and Breakfast food for your group.
  • Headlamps & bug spray
  • Re-usable plates, utensils, re-fillable water bottles (please bring plenty of water)
  • Clothing appropriate for ourdoor play and activities.
  • Food for dinner and breakfast.
  • Christmas trees for the campfire.
  • Anything to make your night comfortable (blankets, treats, toothbrush, comfort items).

SCHEDULE & ACTIVITIES

  • 3PM CHECK IN: You must check in to receive one wristband per paid camper.
  • 3PM - 5PM: Tent set up.
  • ACTIVITIES: Fishing (bring bait), walking, bicylcing etc.
  • 5:30PM Sunset Walk begins
  • 6:30PM Campfire - Smores and more....
  • 7PM - 8:30PM Dinner
  • 8:30PM SPIDER WALK! (Bring a strong headlamp!)

WHAT WILL BE PROVIDED:

  • Youth Camp Ground, camping platforms, bonfire place, pristine nature all around.
  • All that's needed for yummy S'mores!
  • Potable water
  • Restrooms (about 400 yards walk / 6-8 minutes walk).
  • A whole lot of fu!

SAFETY AND CONDUCT:

  • Place all food inside cars or secure containers at night. (Do not feed racoons).
  • This is a family and community event for the enjoyment of all participants. Campers are expected to behave in a helpful and polite manner, follow the instructions of the Camping Leader and adhere to all park rules and guidlines. The safety and offering a fund experience for all campers are a top priority. Non compliance can result in being escorted of the park premises.
  • Do not bring: weapons, fireworks or other potentially dangerous items.
