Friends of Cape Florida, don't miss out! Join our Free Members-Only event on Monday, August 7th, 2023, from 7 PM to 9 PM. 

On National Lighthouse Day we are celebrating our supporters with a new and special Members Event offering unique after-hours access to the lighthouse grounds and keeper's cottage section to enjoy the island's spectacular sunset. 

MONDAY, AUGUST 7TH,  7 PM – 9 PM

MEET US AT THE CAPE FLORIDA LIGHTHOUSE

Refreshing drinks, light bites and a small group of enthusiastic supporters seem a fitting frame for our members to view the sunset in a very special setting, or even better - from the top of the iconic Cape Florida Lighthouse.

A lighthouse tour volunteer will share stories of the lighthouse's history, answer questions and guide you to the historic building's top for breathtaking views over Key Biscayne, Biscayne Bay, Stiltsville and the Mainland's skyline across the causeway.

The Gift Shop inside the Lighthouse Keeper's Cottage will be open! Come on in and meet Martha Kent, on of our incredible volunteers and her collection of intriguing lighthouse memorabilia.  

Requirements to Attend = Active Membership 

Please bring your membership card (on your phone or printed) and valid ID to gain access to the event. The event is rain or shine.
